Royal Mail employees were awarded certificates in recognition of their successful completion of programmes in Adult Essential Skills including Literacy & Numeracy, Sign Language & Information Technology. This year the ‘RULE’ centre at the Royal Mail was nominated for an award through UnionLearn and this presentation is to celebrate the success of individuals as well as the partnership itself.’

Michele Westlake from the N-GAGED team states ‘the Learning Centre stems from
Royal Mail’s desire to provide learning which matches the needs of learners
especially in Basic Skills areas including ESOL, literacy, numeracy and information
technology. By having a dedicated learning centre on site, Royal Mail employees can learn, regardless of their shift patterns as the centre provides flexible learning that is open to all’.
