Finding new employees who share our

First Bus have benefitted from attracting
well-qualified staff from Poland and have
worked with N-GAGED to provide relevant
business focussed courses in English for
Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
N-GAGED worked with First Bus and Filton
College’s ESOL staff to provide flexible
training focussed around the business
in terms of content and language used
but also recognising shift patterns and
commercial pressures at First Bus which
would mean that traditional delivery in a
college would not be feasible.
In using N-GAGED, not only was the
training fully funded, it was delivered in
the workplace to suit the business and
the individual.
