During the last three years N-GAGED
has worked in partnership with the Fire
Brigades Union and Avon Fire and Rescue
Service to deliver ITQ training to firefighters
at Patchway fire station, a busy
full-time station. They are currently also
providing emergency Polish language
classes to fire fighters at Avonmouth
fire station and holiday Spanish to staff
at their head quarters.

The N-GAGED solution: To support the recruitment of
current fire fighters, N-GAGED has provided a range of
specially designed courses including fitness programmes;
ITQ qualifications and Skills for Life courses
Learners N-GAGED: Over 100 learners, ongoing.
Cost of n-gagement to organisation: 20% of the total
cost with 80% subsidised by Government and LSC funding
